The aforementioned alignment technology, known as Eye-Q, comprises a dot and a long alignment line. Using the dot as a focal or anchor point for the golfer's gaze, this unique design helps 'quiet' the eyes and mind, allowing players to make a confident stroke.

Regarding performance, each Scottsdale TEC model features a multi-material construction and PING's advanced PEBAX insert. The construction, including a lightweight aluminum body and a dense stainless steel sole plate, positions weight low and around the perimeter of the putter head, creating exceptionally high MOI, stability, and forgiveness. The PEBAX insert's benefits are two-fold: First, its lightweight makeup provides discretionary weight to optimize performance further. Second, its elasticity and high rebound properties yield remarkably consistent ball speeds across the face, improving distance control, especially on mishits.

The onset hosel found in the Ally Blue positions the shaft near the head's center and slightly ahead of the center of gravity. This setup, unlike a zero-torque model, promotes the dynamic feel of a face-balanced or minimal toe-hang putter, ensuring the CG is pulled through the stroke rather than pushed, which PING's engineers insist delivers superior results. Additionally, the hosel placement provides a full-face view of the ball, aiding alignment.
